A Drive through the Democratic Republic of the Congo

In December 2022, I traveled to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We traveled by car from the capital of Kinshasa to the port towns of Matadi and Boma along the Congo River. These are the photos taken from the vehicle along our drive through this beautiful and colorful country.

One of the highlights of our drive was a brief stop at a roadside stand selling roasted meats to chat with the locals.
